I have been in to photography since High School, even had my own darkroom at times. I really slipped out of it a bit during the dark times, when my other half thought photography meant taking pictures of her, and only her. I put the rig down a bit, then along came my Empress with a little compact camera and her love for the Civil War…and me. A bit of Travel with her and BAM…we all have new DSLR’s!
Funny thing, we travel everywhere together and never have the same shot, thats the art of this stuff!
Its been just a little over 14 months since I started posting on Flickr, a little over a year since I discovered what AEB was on a camera, and how much fun it was gonna be.
Since then we have been through three DSLR rigs, all kinds of P&S cameras and all kinds of learning and looking. Not to mention numerous Paranormal investigations, but that’s another story. I am not Pro or full time photographer by any means, I actually have to keep a real job during the day to fund this hobby.
I am not going to post the usual HDR Tutorial, there are tons of good ones out there, most are on my Great Blogs and Sites listing. I do plan on posting before and after HDR shots, to show what the art does for photography. I learned from Trey’s tutorial and went from there, HDR is an art form as is photography. I do not have a set, “workflow”, I take every HDR I do as a new challenge and I normally have a vision of what I want to end up with when I start. I am not a Photoshop expert by any means, wish I was!
I am willing to help anybody in any way I can, please offer suggestions, comments etc. That’s the fun of this HDR stuff!
