This is another interior shot of the Eastern State Penitentiary, there are so may great photographic vantage points in this place, it’s hard to pick a favorite. And the various lighting conditions make this place a HDR heaven. This is a view looking down one of the wagon wheel cell block corridors in the penitentiary. This is an eleven exposure set of brackets processed in Photomatix, tweaked with Topaz, OnOne and NIK.
One of the notable inmates of Eastern State was Joe Buzzard. Joe and his 4 brothers Abe, Ike, Jacob and Martin all spent time in Eastern State from the late 1800′s to the early 1900′s. Joe was the youngest of the clan and considered himself to be one of the premier Horse thieves in the country. There was a time that Horse theft was the number one crime at the prison.
Thanks for stopping by, please keep an eye out later this week as the HDR Tennis crew will be serving up another match, and great brackets for everyone to process from Jacob Lucas. Great Fun.
Great New APP- Photosync
For those who own the iphone and ipad, I found this slick new app called photosync and I swear it is the best $1.99 I have spent in a long time. It‘s the first app that makes wireless transfer of your photos/videos from or to your computer and other i-Devices like the iphone, ipad and ipod touch. It works like a breeze! You can transfer 1 photo or thousands at a time.
PhotoSync also transfers to Dropbox, Facebook, Picasa, Flickr, SmugMug, Google+ and FTP. You need never use a cable again!
As far as your main computer, be it a Mac or PC, Photosync companion software can be loaded so you can easily transfer to and from all of your devices, without cables. I have not spent a ton of time with it yet but what I have seen and transferred was really slick, so simple and easy to set up and use and really quick as well. So if you are a gadget person, and like to move photographs around to different gadgets you might own like the ipad, this app is a great addition.

Hey Mike.. perfect processing on this one. What a cool place!
Wow dude, love the POV and your gritty processing is outstanding. Definitely will check out the app too!
Shooting soon…will be out of town this weekend, in Dallas the weekend of November 6th, but other than that, should be open. Let me know when you are free.

These ESP shots always remind me of the old video game, Doom. Sort of fitting in many respects, eh?
